Native Trees 2020

30 native trees have been added in Sept 2020 bringing the total to 50 native trees in the Manorhaven Preserve. Learn about the native trees that have called this area their home. Individual tree signs were also added to help identifying trees as they change with the seasons.

Native Greenway, a new 5013c non-profit organization, was created with the vision to support community education for all residents and to build an awareness of native plants in the context of a lush, local garden . With this mission, we have started to revitalize the native species that once populated this area. Our focus landscape is the Manorhaven Preserve in Port Washington, New York.
